Autumn Leaves

I brought this maxi dress from Miss Selfridge at the weekend. I love the print, the colour scheme means I can wear it through Autumn as well with a chunky knit over it.

Ibiza Rocks

Last week I went to Ibiza for the week with my best friend Charlotte. It was a celebration holiday marking the end of my university life and the start of Charlottes. She has got a place in a London University so will be moving there in the middle of September.

We saw lots of D'J's and visited clubs such as Mambo, Ibiza Rocks Hotel and Space.

I had an amazing time and would love to go back there again :-)

The sunset outside cafe Mambo, was beautiful.

Summer Dresses

As Summer is kind of here I have decided to purchase a number of Summer dresses to make the most of the sunshine. Below are my latest purchases and where from.

This mustard dress if from Primark, I love the colour and can be worn in the Autumn as well. I will team this with a tan belt.

Coloured lace is all the rage at the moment and love the royal blue lace dress, it goes great with my dark hair and eyes and will look good with a pair of nude shoes for a night out. This dress is from missguided.com. For a look at the latest range go to: www.missguided.co.uk/

The orange dress below is personal favourite of mine, I love the colour as it's bright and looks so sumemry. It's from Topshop and love the crochet detailed across the middle panel. The back has delicate buttons. The ultimate Summer dress :-)

Finally this stripy number above is my bargain buy. It's a French Connection dress. I love the way the dress falls and the cantral panel keeps defines my waist, I got it for the bargain price of £10 at a local charity shop.

It's a family affair

I recently got back from my annual visit to Italy. I'm half Italian so alot of my Dad's family live in Italy including my Nan. She lives about an hour away from Venice in a small town called Maniago.

The view of my nan's back garden and the local church.

I spent ten days there and got to visit the markets of Maniago and Spilembergo which have a lot of jewllery and clothing stalls.

I also went to various places in the Alps as my Nan lives close to the area. Places such as Barcis where the views were perfect and little water holes acted as refreshing swimming pools in the blistering heat.

The beautiful views were breathtaking.

While I was in Italy I also visit the town of Longarone. The town was hit by disaster in 1963 when part of the mountain collapsed into a recently built dam. Thousands of people lost their lives and it was a very emotional place to visit.

View of the mountain.

The church built in memory of those who lost their lives.

A plaque detailing the time and date the disaster happened.

In a local town called Cavasso Nouvo there was an art exhibition by local artists which I took some pictures of (below) I loved the colours and textures of the paintings.

Final Results!

So today I got my final results from my three years at University and I got a 2:1 which I am so happy with. The three years hard work finally paid off :-)

I'll be looking for work within a marketing or buying role as these were the modules I most enjoyed from University.

So now it's some hardcore job searching. While I am looking for work I'll be working at Telford hospital full time, this is a job which I have gone back to when I'm not at Uni for example over the Summer and Christmas.

Beacon Radio Walk

Today I completed a the 10 mile Beacon Radio walk for charity. Beacon Radio is a local radio station who put together the charity event in aid of Promise Dreams who are a charity supporting children with terminally ill children and their families.

The walk was from Himley Hall to Dunstall Park Race course. I completed it in just under two hours and I think I will feel the consequences of it tomorrow. It was a good day and the rain held off which was good. So far over £100,000 has been raised for the charity.
